ROBOT CONTROLLER
I conduct a meticulous visual inspection to identify any exterior damage and ensure the system operator panel, switches, and seals are in optimal condition. Examining the teach pendant, its buttons, switches, and connectors for any signs of wear and tear, as well as inspect the interior of the controller for cleanliness. Cooling fans are checked for proper operation, and all boards are inspected for secure seating. Backup batteries are replaced, and provide a predictive rating of the overall condition of the controller, pendant, and cables on a scale of 1-5.
MECHANICAL ROBOT
My mechanical robot maintenance services are equally comprehensive. I begin with a visual inspection of the mechanical unit and a thorough check of all cables for any damage. Physically checking the robot joints for excessive movement and inspect the robot's mounting surface and any ancillary equipment used. The End Of Arm Tool is examined for abnormalities, and all moving components are lubricated to OEM specifications. I inspect lubricants for metallic content, replenish them as needed, and grease all zerk fittings, replacing any broken ones. Visible grease seals are checked for leakage, and backup batteries on the robot are replaced. I confirm the master/calibration location of the robot, ensuring it is ready to be put back into production, and provide predictive ratings for each axis and the overall mechanical condition on a scale of 1-5.
